About Dr Joe Ozawa
With two degrees from Har­vard Uni­ver­sity and a Ph.D. from the Uni­ver­sity of South­ern Cali­for­nia, Dr. Ozawa has been a licensed clin­ical psy­cho­lo­gist (USA) for over 26 years. Cur­rently, Dr. Ozawa is the Senior Con­sult­ant Psy­cho­lo­gist of the Sub­or­din­ate Courts of Singa­pore. He deals with cases of child abuse and neg­lect, juven­ile crime, spousal viol­ence, men­tal dis­orders, and other crim­inal beha­vi­ors. He has held other posts with the Singa­pore gov­ern­ment as well as with a Com­munity Health Cen­ter of the US government. 

In 1995, Dr. Ozawa moved to Singa­pore from Amer­ica to min­is­ter in Asia. Dr. Ozawa is on the core fac­ulty of Beth­any Inter­na­tional Uni­ver­sity, a Chris­tian uni­ver­sity which trains mis­sions lead­ers through­out Asia and Africa. Pre­vi­ously he was a licensed Anglican pas­tor at Saint Andrew’s Cathed­ral of Singa­pore and on staff of vari­ous other churches, includ­ing Mount Soledad Pres­by­terian Church in Cali­fonia. He also planted a church among the home­less and street chil­dren in San Diego, and has traveled in many nations teach­ing and min­is­ter­ing espe­cially on the top­ics of “stra­tegic inter­ces­sion” and “The Love of God the Father.” His children’s book, Hip­po­pot­amus Post­man, has been trans­lated into many lan­guages and was made into a tele­vi­sion show in Japan. Dr. Ozawa has min­istered and taught in over 20 nations.

He is mar­ried and the father of three chil­dren and the grand­father of twins.
