HIT (Hos­pit­al­ity Inter­na­tional Team) — our min­istry to inter­na­tional stu­dents is grow­ing and we need more people to be involved in this excit­ing area. WE NEED 100 FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO COME ON BOARD IN 2010 to help the stu­dents feel wel­come and at home.

Our Train­ing Day this year will help you under­stand more about this min­istry role and give you con­fid­ence in step­ping out in a new area. Put this date in your diary now, com­plete this form, hand in at the Help Desk, and we’ll see you at KBC on 6 February.

Con­nect­ing
After you’ve done the train­ing, you then get an oppor­tun­ity to con­nect with the stu­dents at HIT (Taste of Aus­tralia) at Gold Creek Road, Brook­field — Sat­urday, 27 Feb­ru­ary — 12noon to 3pm.
Once the con­nec­tion is made -

• Get to know them, their cul­ture and coun­try they come from
• Show them the Aus­sie way of life
• Invite them home for meals
• Invite them to social and church activities
• Invite them to Taste of Aus­tralia events
