Guest Speaker Robyn Robertson speaks on ‘Acting Justly’. Robyn has worked all over the world, in the area of financial literacy and micro-economic development. She takes biblical principles and applies them to personal and financial development, enabling thousands to escape poverty.

Kids Holiday Club will run each morning from Monday 25th June to Friday 29th June.

Kids Holiday Club is held at Kenmore Baptist Church during the mid-year holidays. This week is for primary school children and is a whole week of holiday fun. Kids are encouraged to bring a friend along as well.

This is an energetic week where over 360 children come together to enjoy games and singing, crafts, quizzes, drama, Bible stories and a whole lot more! This week is open to any young person from prep to grade 7. The prep children have their own area apart from the older kids. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends, eat yummy food and have a whole pile more fun than you can imagine! All leaders hold blue cards.

Spaces are already filling up so now is the time to get your booking in. The week runs from Monday 25th June to Friday 29th July. It is held each morning at the church in Kenmore from 9.00 to 12.30. On the Thursday night the children invite their families along for a concert so that they can be part of the fun. The cost for the week is $50.00 per child. For families of 3 or more children there is a discount.

How does Kids on the GO run?
All outings are designed to provide child friendly activities for toddler — kindy aged children. Mums are to be responsible for their own child/ren’s care. Outings will usually run from 10am — 11.30am. Please keep sick (contagious) children (+ mums) at home to prevent spreading illness to others.

Most outings will run at low cost or free. Please check the monthly flyer for each events cost. Some outings will require an RSVP. Please check the flyer at the start of the month and RSVP where necessary.

Mums Escape Nights are just for the mums — yippee! Please join us for a fun night out.

Wet weather days
Please meet in the Kenmore Baptist Church Lower Hall, 57a Kenmore Rd, Kenmore. Parking is available at the rear of the church. We’ll enjoy all kinds of play fun from obstacle course, trikes, puzzles
and play dough. It’s always a mixed bag of fun! NB: An SMS and email will be sent out close to 9am on the day to let you know if it is a wet weather KOTG morning.

Women Connect meets every Thursday during term time and provides a caring and supportive environment as we grow to become the women God intends us to be. Childcare is available for children aged 1–5 years so that the mums can enjoy the fellowship and study during the morning.

About this message:
Over the last thirty years, church affiliation has dropped by the same, 30 percent. McCrindle research recently presented the Australian Communities Report. The report examined some findings about major blockers to Australians believing in Christianity. What is interesting is that of the top 10 blockers, seven are not about the message. They’re about us, the delivery mechanism, the church. Put simply, our product (Jesus) is good, but the delivery mechanism (church) has issues. When the church comes together, we’re meant to look like Jesus. Yet often we’re more known for abusive authority, harsh exclusion, and blatant hypocrisy. In an age where many question whether the church is relevant anymore, how might a follower of Jesus respond?
