Tiny lady with a BIG purpose

Fifty women enjoyed a fun morning of food and fellowship at the KBC Women’s breakfast on Saturday 22 August at The Bottletree Garden Centre, Springfield Lakes. Entitled “The Little Ladybird: A tiny lady with a BIG purpose”, guest speaker Margo Heyburn shared with the women about how even though ladybirds are quite tiny, God has given them a signifi cant purpose to play in the garden.

We laughed as Margo made us smile with her encouraging stories of her journey with God and reassured us that He could use us for His glory whether we were chasing after toddlers, keeping the house or running a business. Colleen Barrington did a wonderful job as master of ceremonies for the morning and after a cup of coffee to warm up the brains, prizes were given away for the best answers in a gardening quiz.

Quite a few stories were shared among the women about who had the best and worst gardening experiences! The Centre served a lovely breakfast of warm muffins, croissants, fruit, tea and coffee, and the women wandered through the gift shop and plants afterwards in the warm sunshine. Thank you Margo and Colleen for a great morning.
