Invigor’10

Do you desire to be a woman of influence to those around you? Do you yearn to make a difference in the lives of family, friends and colleagues? Join with other passionate women of all ages in this one day workshop as we hear from inspiring women in our community who have been influential to those around them simply by living their lives.

Building on the success of last year’s Invigor’09, we again invite women to take time out to re-energise, connect and be inspired by each other. Hear keynote speaker Robyn Robertson’s heart for women across the globe and how she has combined her influential roles in business with being a wife and a mother. Then join prominent local women as we delve into practical and relevant daily areas of influence such as raising children, talking to teenagers, being a woman in the workplace and community and financial issues for women.

While childcare is unfortunately unavailable on the day, we are excited to offer a half-day option (either morning or afternoon). Lunch is optional this year for those who would prefer to bring their own.

We trust you will enjoy your day!

Keynote Speaker: Robyn Robertson
Robyn Robertson has been married to John, Executive Pastor at Kenmore Baptist Church, for 16 years. Robyn and John have been blessed with two boys, Jake (5) and Liam (1).

Robyn Currently leads a multi-country initiative to bring financial education via multimedia to Opportunity International (OI) clients in countries across sub Saharan Africa and Latin America. She has served through OI since 2004 as a consultant across Asia (predominately India), and from 2007 – 2009 was Chief Transformational Impact Officer for Opportunity International Network.

With a heart for empowering women both locally and internationally, Robyn understands the challenges her clients face in creating balance in their personal and processional lives. Her insights and experiences in combining her influential career with being a wider and mother will greatly encourage others and highlight the potential women have to make a difference in our society.
