Pastor of Missions

Thong Ng

Thong Ng

Thong was born in China, grew up in Malaysia and did his Engineering, Business and Industrial Administration studies in New Zealand where he became a Christian. He was working for a big Multinational Company in New Zealand when God called him into Ministry to be the first Chinese Pastor in one of the fastest growing Caucasian Churches there.

He did his Biblical and Theological studies at The Bible College of New Zealand, The Baptist Theological College of NZ, Melbourne College of Divinity and Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. After 16 years in NZ he returned as a Missionary based in Malaysia with his Kiwi wife Anthea and 3 children — training National Pastors and Leaders, Church Planters and Evangelists and speaking and challenging Missions in Churches, Conferences and Leadership Seminars in both Eastern and Western countries. He now calls Australia home but somehow still cheers for the All Blacks when it comes to Rugby Union.

Thong is passionate about partnership and networking between East and West.

He is a churchman with a mission heart. He is a true “international”, loving all kinds of food and people! His dream is to be part of a church that truly reflects our international community.
