Pat Hegarty

Pat is the author of KBC’s Path­ways Spir­itual Devel­op­ment Pro­gram, and over­sees KBC’s Small Group network.

Born and raised in Sydney, Pat was sig­ni­fic­antly impacted when he first heard the gos­pel at age 19 from a per­sist­ent youth leader. Leav­ing his career and social life behind, he sowed him self quickly into youth work, wor­ship lead­ing, and small-​​groups. He has now been involved in many aspects of Chris­tian lead¬er ship for over 20 years. Pat has a desire to equip Chris­ti­ans of all ages to dis­cover and live out their God-​​given pur­pose. He met his wife Trish whilst they were part of a church plant¬ing team in 1987, and together they have served in a num­ber of large and medium sized con­greg­a­tions as well as three church plants. Hav­ing sold his busi­ness interests early in 2003, Pat entered voca­tional min­istry and in 2004 joined the Pas­toral Team at KBC.
