Keith Appleg­ate

Keith has been asso­ci­ated with KBC for 15 years. Fol­low­ing theo­lo­gical train­ing at Spurgeon’s Col­lege, Lon­don, Keith was ordained in 1968, serving Baptist Churches in the UK, WA, Tas, Vic and Qld. He also served as Interserve’s Qld Dir­ector. Keith works in Pas­toral Care, primar­ily being respons­ible for emer­gency situ­ations. Pas­toral Care also includes the care of mis­sion­ar­ies sup­por­ted by KBC, whether at home or over­seas. He also has respons­ib­il­ity for the over 45’s – an ever increas­ing num­ber! Keith lists his hob­bies as col­lect­ing die-​​cast vet­eran, vin­tage and clas­sic cars, solv­ing cryptic cross­word puzzles; listen­ing to clas­sical music and he is an avid reader. He and Sheila enjoy their fam­ily which includes three mar­ried chil­dren and five grand­chil­dren (all in Mel­bourne and Hobart), trav­el­ling and entertaining.
