John Robertson

My fam­ily star­ted com­ing to KBC in 1982 and so my con­nec­tion with the church has had many vari­ous forms over the dif­fer­ent stages of my life. I joined the staff of KBC in 1996 as Pas­tor of Youth and Young Adults and worked in that role until 2004 when I went to India with my wife for a year of mis­sion work. I returned to KBC in 2005 as the Exec­ut­ive Pas­tor, which basic­ally means I sup­port the Senior Lead­er­ship Team in work­ing together.

My greatest pas­sion is to see people reach their full poten­tial in Jesus Christ. I love this church and its people and con­sider it an abso­lute priv­ilege to be able to serve God as I cur­rently do.

My wife Robyn and I share a love for sport, travel, adven­ture and food. Our sons Jake and Liam keep us very busy and we love spend­ing time together as a fam­ily. We still have a great pas­sion to help the mar­gin­al­ised and poor in devel­op­ing coun­tries and con­tinue to have a per­sonal involve­ment in India.
