Barb over­sees our large con­tin­gent of musi­cians, sing­ers, wor­ship lead­ers, tech­ni­cians, dan­cers and act­ors, as well Dir­ec­tions Musical Com­pany. Although this is a full-​​time job done part-​​time, it facil­it­ates her great pas­sion to serve God.
She loves her work. It’s fairly time (and life) con­sum­ing and she couldn’t do any of it without the con­stant encour­age­ment and sup­port of her fam­ily: David (hus­band) and kids Nich­olas, Jonathan and Annaliese. Other moments of her week are spent being a multi-​​tasked mother, teacher, taxi-​​driver, gour­met chef, social dir­ector, per­sonal trainer, music coach and artistic adviser!

Barb is a fairly social being, and really enjoys being with friends (to quote a good friend “friends and food — what bet­ter com­bin­a­tion?”!). Her kids are also into this food and friends thing, and so their “free time” is often spent relax­ing with oth­ers. As a fam­ily, they enjoy the beach, music, walk­ing and trav­el­ling to new places. She hopes they’re still doing this forty years on from now!
